Apple's iMessage and FaceTime are running normally again after the company reported Tuesday that "some users" were affected by service interruptions.
The Cupertino, Calif. company's system status page indicated that users had been "unable to place FaceTime calls" and "unable to use iMessage" from 3:11 p.m. ET to 8:20 p.m. ET.
It's unclear what caused the downtime. Apple did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
