Twitter has a message for everyone this Mother's Day: Stop using Twitter for once.
In a special Mother's Day ad posted online Friday, Twitter touts its service for helping users connect with everyone from politicians to musicians, but when the person in the video starts to type out a tweet saying happy mother's day to his mom, the narrator loses it: "What the f*ck are you doing? Give your mom a call!"
The ad is simply called #MothersDay. Ironically enough, the top tweet when you search for that hashtag right now is actually a Mother's Day video that Google released earlier this week called "Here's to the Mothers," which promotes Google+ by showing how it can help you keep in touch with family.
